Stori is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Global Accounting and Tax team in Mexico City. You will manage operating expenses, coordinate with department leads on spend variances, and drive a streamlined month-end close process across the organization.

This role partners with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, supports audits, and spearheads scalable automation initiatives within the accounting function.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in general accounting and month-end close, preferably in Big 4, fintech, or financial services.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with ability to adapt and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all company operating expenses and partner with department leads to analyze spend and variances.
• Lead month-end close activities for operating expenses, including accruals, prepaids, and reclasses.
• Support audits and drive process improvements with scalable automation across the accounting function.
