Job summary

The LEGO Group seeks a Senior Accountant, General Ledger, to manage accurate, timely accounting for the Americas region and support a one-year transition project for LEGO Discovery Centers. You will strengthen GL processes, controls and reporting while ensuring IFRS-compliant journal entries and intercompany reconciliations.

You will join the General Ledger team within Business Service Operations, working in a hybrid rhythm with three days a week in the office. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years accounting experience including journal entries.
• 2+ years in general-ledger closing (monthly/yearly).
• Experience using SAP or comparable ERP to record/reconcile transactions.
• Translate business transactions into IFRS-compliant journal entries.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1+).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for financial analyses.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate, timely accounting for the Americas region.
• Support transition and stabilization of LEGO Discovery Center accounting ops.
• Perform core GL closing and maintain controls and reporting.
