Buckland is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to support the growth of its accounting function in Monterrey, Mexico. This role focuses on reconciling balances, managing month-end close, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with US GAAP.

You will partner with leadership to bring processes in-house, support ERP implementations (NetSuite preferred), and collaborate with auditors and tax advisors to maintain compliance and drive improvements in controls and efficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting or startup experience a plus).
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close procedures.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience documenting processes and supporting system implementations.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close schedules.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reporting.
• Partner with the Director of Accounting and Controller to bring accounting processes in-house.
• Assist with ERP and financial systems implementation (NetSuite experience preferred).
• Reconcile cash, AR/AP, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Collaborate with Operations and Product teams to ensure proper accounting for new initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
