Job summary

Stripe Brand Studio is seeking a senior designer to lead 3D illustration systems, motion workflows, and brand storytelling at scale. You will own conception to motion, iterating quickly and collaborating with marketing, product design, and other designers and agencies.

You’ll advance the Stripe visual identity, create editorial-grade 3D work, and drive best practices across global campaigns and digital experiences.

Qualifications

6+ years of design and art direction experience in technical and product-driven companies.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in art, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

Develop, establish and create illustration and motion styles across Stripe brand ecosystem in collaboration with brand, product design, and marketing.
Create photo-realistic 3D compositions that tell editorial stories for various surfaces from billboards to video.
Influence how the Stripe brand expresses itself through image and motion and develop guidelines to ensure quality at scale.
Collaborate with non-motion designers and elevate each other’s work.
Oversee quality and consistency of 3D illustration/motion used across products, campaigns, and events.
Coordinate with external partners in creative strategy, execution, and production.
Work with designers, researchers, product managers, marketers, and cross-functional partners to reach a global audience.
Inspire and evolve best practices, design processes, and ideation.
Stay curious and experimental, leveraging AI to create compelling visuals.
Shape strategic vision that expands brand boundaries and raises internal design awareness.
