International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. in Mexico (Tlalnepantla) is seeking a Junior Scientist (Fragrance Analytical Chemist) to support advanced fragrance analysis. You will prepare samples, operate GC/MS under supervision, and ensure data integrity for fragrance innovation.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry or closely related field.
  • Minimum 3 years in Analytical Chemistry within fragrance, consumer goods, biotech, pharma, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with sample preparation techniques and basic analytical instrumentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions precisely.

Responsabilidades

  • Ensure accurate labelling, tracking, and documentation of all samples to maintain data integrity.
  • Prepare and process fragrance samples from consumer products and raw materials using standardized protocols.
  • Assist in setting up and operating GC/MS instruments and other analytical equipment under supervision.
  • Support high-throughput workflows by managing sample queues and robotic systems for automated analysis.
  • Record and organize analytical data in compliance with established procedures.
  • Work closely with senior scientists to align on priorities and timelines.
  • Maintain clear communication regarding sample status and any issues encountered.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment
