IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, and health & biosciences, invites a Junior Scientist based on-site in Tlalnepantla and Teconparque to join our analytical team. You will support fragrance analysis by ensuring accurate sample preparation, labelling, and data integrity, working closely with senior scientists to enable reliable results.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry and have at least 3 years in analytical chemistry within related industries.

• Minimum 3 years in Analytical Chemistry within fragrance, consumer goods, biotech, pharma, or related industries.
• Familiarity with sample preparation techniques and basic analytical instrumentation.
• Understanding of lab safety and good documentation practices.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions precisely.
• Ability to speak English with professional proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure accurate labelling, tracking, and documentation of all samples to maintain data integrity.
• Prepare and process fragrance samples from consumer products and raw materials using standardized protocols.
• Assist in setting up and operating GC/MS and other analytical equipment under supervision.
• Support high-throughput workflows by managing sample queues and robotic systems for automated analysis.
• Record and organize analytical data in compliance with established procedures.
• Perform basic data checks to ensure completeness and accuracy before submission to senior scientists.
• Work closely with senior scientists to align on priorities and timelines.
• Maintain clear communication regarding sample status and any issues encountered.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.

The Junior Scientist role is based in Tlalnepantla and Teconparque (On Site Role).
