The Senior Scientist (Fragrance Analytical Chemist) role is based in Tlalnepantla, Mexico (on site). You will work in a state‑of‑the‑art analytical laboratory, applying GC/MS and high‑throughput methods to generate actionable insights that shape IFF’s fragrance portfolio.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or closely related field (PhD preferred).
• Minimum 7 years in analytical chemistry within fragrance, consumer goods, biotech, pharma, or related industries.
• Proven ability to design experiments and solve complex analytical challenges.
• Hands-on experience with GC/MS operation and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of fragrance composition, essential oils, aroma chemicals, and specialty bases.
• Familiarity with automation, robotics, and high-throughput analytical systems.
• Advanced data processing, interpretation, and management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Contribute to IP development and maintain IFF’s competitive edge.
• Present findings and interpretations to cross-functional teams.
• Foster a collaborative, innovation-driven culture.
