Job summary

IBM Consulting in Mexico City seeks a Consultant specializing in SAP S/4HANA PP to design, implement, and configure production planning solutions for clients. You will help optimize manufacturing operations, reduce costs, and drive value across SAP S/4HANA PP environments.

You will collaborate with clients and global teams, lead workshops, gather requirements, perform fit-gap analyses, and deliver high-quality solutions using SAP S/4HANA PP tools, PP/DS, and related modules.

Qualifications

• Proven experience implementing and configuring SAP S/4HANA PP solutions across manufacturing environments.
• Experience delivering at least two SAP S/4HANA implementations with design, config, testing, and stakeholder collaboration.
• Strong understanding of PP, sequencing, and PP/DS to optimize production planning and efficiency.
• Knowledge of end-to-end Supply Chain and manufacturing processes and cross-functional collaboration.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Consultant specializing in SAP HANA SCM PP, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and configuring SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing based Production Planning (PP) solutions for clients. Your expertise in SAP S/4HANA PP will enable you to help clients optimize their production planning operations, improve manufacturing efficiency, and reduce costs.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Design and Implement Solutions: Design and implement SAP S/4HANA PP solutions to meet clients' business requirements, working closely with them to understand their needs and optimize production planning operations.
• Configure SAP S/4HANA PP Tools: Configure SAP S/4HANA PP tools to deliver tailored solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs for clients.
• Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, design solutions, and implement them using SAP S/4HANA PP tools.
• Deliver Solution Expertise: Leverage your expertise in SAP S/4HANA PP to deliver high-quality solutions that meet clients' needs and drive business value.
• Optimize Production Planning: Help clients optimize their production planning operations, improve manufacturing efficiency, and reduce costs through effective SAP S/4HANA PP solution implementation.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Proven experience implementing and configuring SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) solutions, with strong knowledge of manufacturing, production planning, and production-to-fulfill processes.
• Experience delivering at least two SAP S/4HANA implementations, including solution design, configuration, testing support, and collaboration with business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of production planning, sequencing, and PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling), with the ability to optimize manufacturing processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of end-to-end Supply Chain and Manufacturing processes, including planning, inventory management, logistics integration, and cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, Sales, and Finance teams.
• Advanced English communication skills and ability to lead workshops, gather requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and collaborate effectively with global teams in large-scale SAP transformation programs.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Advanced SAP S/4HANA Knowledge: Experience with advanced SAP S/4HANA features and functionality, enabling the design and implementation of complex Production Planning solutions.
• Industry-Specific Expertise: Experience in a specific industry, such as manufacturing or logistics, with knowledge of industry-specific production planning challenges and best practices.
• SAP S/4HANA Integration: Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA PP with other SAP modules or third-party systems to deliver comprehensive solutions.
