Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. seeks an experienced SAP PP Consultant for a hybrid role in Tamaulipas, Mexico. The ideal candidate will have deep SAP PP knowledge, S/4HANA experience, and strong production planning expertise to drive end-to-end PP processes.

The role involves configuring BOMs, work centers, routings, and MRP while ensuring integration with MM/QM/SD/CO/PM/EWM, and supporting SIT, UAT, and go-live activities in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP PP experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and production planning processes.
• Hands-on with SAP S/4HANA Production Planning.
• Knowledge of MRP, BOMs, Work Centers, Routings, Production Versions, Production Orders, and Capacity Planning.
• Understanding of discrete and repetitive manufacturing scenarios.
• Strong PP integration with MM, QM, SD, CO, PM, and warehouse processes.
• Experience in implementations, rollouts, enhancements, or production-support projects.
• Requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support end-to-end SAP Production Planning (PP) processes.
• Work on Demand Management, Capacity Planning, Make-to-Stock and Make-to-Order scenarios.
• Configure PP master data (BOM, Production Versions).
• Support MRP Live and planning in SAP S/4HANA.
• Translate business requirements into functional solutions and configurations.
• Prepare functional specs for enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms.
• Collaborate with ABAP/technical teams for custom developments.
• Manage SIT, UAT, regression testing, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Troubleshoot PP, scheduling, and manufacturing issues.
• Support PP integration with SAP MM, QM, SD, FI/CO, PM, and EWM.
• Prepare functional docs, config docs, test scripts, and user guides.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP Consultant with strong knowledge of manufacturing and production planning processes. The candidate should have hands‑on experience in SAP S/4HANA, configuration, MRP, production orders, master data, capacity planning, and integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support end-to-end SAP Production Planning (PP) processes.
• Work extensively on:
  • Demand Management
  • Capacity Planning
  • Make-to-Stock and Make-to-Order scenarios
• Configure and manage PP master data, including:
  • Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Production Versions
• Support MRP Live and production‑planning processes in SAP S/4HANA.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions and system configurations.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SAP PP/DS or Advanced Planning concepts.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications related to production planning and execution.
• Experience with manufacturing integration and shop‑floor processes.
• SAP S/4HANA certification is an added advantage.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, or energy/wind industry would be preferred.
