Pyramid Consulting, Inc. seeks a senior SAP Controlling specialist focused on Cost Center Planning to drive accuracy in postings, cost allocations, and product costing. You will collaborate with Plant Controllers and finance teams to ensure governance and data integrity across planning cycles.

Responsibilities include reviewing postings, validating structures, and guiding planning templates and reconciliation activities. Strong English skills are required; based in Reynosa/Monterrey.

Formación

• 8-10 years of SAP experience with Controlling and Cost Center Planning.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Cost Center Planning processes.
• Proven ability to analyze SAP transactions and actual postings, identify mispostings, and recommend corrections.
• Deep knowledge of Cost Center Accounting and Product Costing.
• Experience with COPA integration and readiness.

• Partner with Plant Controllers to review and validate actual postings and identify misallocations or incorrect postings.
• Analyze transaction-level data, identify posting issues, and discuss appropriate correction methodologies with the business.
• Validate cost center structures, ownership, grouping, and expense categorization.
• Support complete cost center planning activities, including relevant SAP transactions such as KP06, KP26, KSU7, KSS4, KSPI, and related processes.
• Guide Plant Controllers through planning templates, activity rate calculations, allocation methodologies, and reconciliation activities.
• Support the definition and validation of assessment and distribution cycles and allocation logic.
• Analyze production order under- and over-absorption and support the business in understanding the underlying drivers.
• Ensure alignment with cost center planning governance, ownership assignments, and planning calendar requirements.
• Assess absorption logic, including the treatment of non-absorbing cost centers.
• Support COPA integration readiness and assess the impact of cost center planning on product costing and COPA.
• Provide product costing awareness and support the understanding of Material Ledger impacts related to cost center planning.
• Develop user manuals, step-by-step guides, and other documentation according to plant requirements.
• Conduct plant awareness and training sessions for Controllers and relevant business users.
• Document allocation logic, cost center grouping rules, and actual posting cleanup procedures.
• Support reconciliations and ensure data and planning consistency across the relevant processes.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 8-10 years of relevant SAP experience, with deep expertise in SAP Controlling and Cost Center Planning.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Cost Center Planning processes.
• Proven experience analyzing SAP transactions and actual postings, identifying mispostings, and recommending appropriate adjustments or corrective actions.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Cost Center Accounting.
• Cost center planning.
• Activity type and activity rate planning.
• Assessment and distribution cycles.
• Product Costing.
• COPA integration and readiness.
• Absorption logic and production order under/over absorption.
• Material Ledger impacts.
• Strong understanding of shop-floor operations and the relationship between operational activities, cost centers, activity rates, and product costing.
• Experience working directly with Plant Controllers and business stakeholders.
• Strong data analysis and reconciliation skills.
• Ability to translate complex SAP Controlling processes into practical guidance for business users.
• Experience developing training materials, user manuals, and process documentation.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Preferably based in Reynosa and Monterrey.
• SAP CO / Cost Center Planning expertise.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
