Stryker Group is seeking an experienced cost accounting professional in Tijuana to lead cost activities in a manufacturing setting.

You will partner with operations to ensure accurate cost roll-ups, inventory balances, and variance analysis, while leveraging SAP ERP to deliver reliable reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Public Accounting or equivalent).
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Finance and Cost Accounting roles.
• Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a solid background in General Accounting and Cost Accounting.
• Knowledge of Mexican accounting standards and U.S. GAAP.
• People management experience
• Bilingual Spanish-English, with advanced English proficiency (minimum B2 level).
• Strong knowledge of SAP ERP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead cost accounting activities within a manufacturing environment.
• Serve as SME on material characteristics, MRO, and production processes for internal customers.
• Own product cost analysis and SAP ERP reporting, ensuring accurate cost roll-ups and inventory balances.
• Design, maintain, and analyze ERP and operational data for reporting and decision support.
• Improve operational procedures to meet audit standards and compliance.
• Manage one direct report and provide performance guidance.
• Participate in annual audits and special projects with internal teams and external auditors.

What you will do

This role leads cost accounting activities within a manufacturing environment, leveraging strong SAP expertise to manage product costing, inventory control, manufacturing variances, and financial compliance, in close partnership with operations.

• Serve as a trusted subject matter expert on material characteristics, MRO, and production processes for internal customers, ensuring accurate and reliable operational knowledge.

• Own product cost analysis and SAP ERP reporting, ensuring accurate cost roll-ups, inventory balances, manufacturing and price variances, and providing key insights to operations and finance leadership to support annual roll-up activities and cost accuracy.

• Design, maintain, and analyze ERP and operational data, ensuring data integrity, effective reporting, and seamless integration of information to support finance analysts and business objectives.

• Design and improve operational procedures and processes to meet audit standards, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.

• Manage one direct report, providing guidance, oversight, and performance support.

• Participate in annual audits and special projects, working closely with internal teams and external auditors or consultants to provide required information and ensure accurate historical recordkeeping.

What you need

Required:
