Job summary

GBG Plc is seeking a Salesforce Developer to shape our platform as part of a small, distributed CoE. You will design, build, and own solutions across Core, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ, and Billing, collaborating with Architecture and CoE leads.

You will work with Flow, Apex, LWC, and best practices, while evaluating AI-assisted approaches and DevOps tooling. The role emphasizes quality, documentation, and scalable deployment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, and SOQL.
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing packages.
• Ability to produce solution designs and technical documentation.
• Experience in a Salesforce CoE or product-delivery model.
• DevOps tooling experience (Gearset or equivalent).
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tooling (Claude) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build using Flow, validation rules, and configuration where appropriate; Apex and LWC for complexity.
• Own a young greenfield codebase and set the standard for quality.
• Balance speed and quality; know when to choose quick or robust solutions.
• Follow CoE standards for Apex, Flow, and test coverage.
• Manage deployments through Gearset along the multi-org promotion path.
• Produce solution designs and technical docs for platform changes.
• Run prototypes or spikes to de-risk uncertain requirements.
• Triagize and debug platform issues across config, code, and managed packages.
• Contribute to architecture discussions with build approach perspectives.
• Apply AI tooling judiciously to accelerate delivery where appropriate.
• Maintain code quality in a small, distributed team.
