Pricing Analyst – Varis (Remote, Mexico)

This is a 100% fully remote role. Work virtually from anywhere in Mexico.

  • Pricing Analyst will deliver insights to guide business decisions and support go-forward pricing strategies.
  • Analyst projects range from dashboards monitoring key metrics to formulating action plans with teammates to define best practices for category coverage and price competitiveness.
  • Requires comfort with detailed analytical work and the ability to work independently and in support of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to guide pricing strategy and provide effective recommendations to support pricing operations at all levels of management.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage pricing requests that are tactical or deal-based through analysis, price implementation, communication, and reporting.
  • Deliver consistent, detailed category analyses and overviews.
  • Provide timely, value-added insights and recommendations for customers to develop relationships and achieve category and customer objectives.
  • Develop analytics regarding price and supplier stock on a regular and ad hoc basis.
  • Analyze large data sets to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to communicate key insights.
  • Set priorities, work independently on multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent experience (degree in business analytics is an asset).
  • 3+ years of experience evaluating, analyzing, and recommending pricing strategies with large data sets.
  • Experience in category analysis is ideal (procurement/sourcing acceptable).
  • Price scraping experience is a strong asset.
  • Analytical capability to leverage data and develop business/category knowledge.
  • Operational discipline to deliver granular, time-bound projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas).
  • Experience with data visualization and presenting data to business leaders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • SQL queries experience preferred; Power BI or Tableau experience a plus.
