WWL Vehicle Services Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V.

seeks an experienced HSE Manager to plan, develop, and implement Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental management across all processes. You will establish control mechanisms for new projects, perform risk assessments, and lead IMS actions to prevent injuries and reduce environmental impact. You will also train staff, manage documentation, coordinate audits, and ensure legal compliance with Mexican standards.

Formación

  • Experience in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment management.
  • Knowledge of Mexican NOMs and STPS requirements is preferred.
  • Experience implementing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems.

Responsabilidades

  • Plan, develop, and manage Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental processes.
  • Implement control mechanisms for new projects ensuring HSE compliance.
  • Conduct risk assessments to establish work standards and legal adherence.
  • Reduce injury risk via improvements in safety, ergonomics, and environment.
  • Maintain documentation for the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Lead preventive and corrective action follow-ups within IMS.
  • Train staff on IMS processes and HSE procedures.
  • Develop and monitor annual Safety Assessments and Work Plans.
  • Provide training to operational personnel on HSE management and regulations.
  • Plan workstation design considering safety, ergonomics, and environment.
  • Advise on process flows and standard methods from HSE perspective.
  • Manage suppliers for HSE compliance and oversight.
  • Close non-conformities related to the IMS.
  • Serve as Internal Auditor for the IMS.
  • Coordinate process hazard, risk, and environmental impact assessments.
  • Escalate activities outside scope or risk to operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Civil Protection requirements at the site.

Plan, develop, implement, and establish control mechanisms for the company's processes related to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Management to prevent accidents and injuries, as well as reduce environmental impacts. Mitigate losses resulting from accidents and injuries to maintain safe working conditions, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations across all processes.

Job Description
  • Plan and develop process management and process interactions related to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Management.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and establish control mechanisms for new projects, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
  • Establish work standards through risk assessments, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, applicable regulations, and the company's internal Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
  • Reduce the risk of injuries by implementing improvements in Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, and workplace environmental conditions.
  • Manage and control documentation related to the Integrated Management System for Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment.
  • Lead the follow-up of preventive and corrective actions resulting from the Integrated Management System related to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment.
  • Train administrative personnel on Integrated Management System processes and procedures related to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment.
  • Develop and monitor the annual Safety Assessment and Annual Work Plan.
  • Provide training to operational personnel in accordance with the Annual Training Program, ensuring employee competency in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Management, applicable regulations, and corporate procedures.
  • Plan and design workstations and work areas considering Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental requirements.
  • Advise and validate process flows and operational activities from an Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental perspective.
  • Advise and validate standard work methods related to Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental Management.
  • Validate changes made to process flows and work standards, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
  • Advise and validate process flows for new projects and customer requirements related to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Management.
  • Advise and validate standard work methods for new projects, ensuring compliance with Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental standards.
  • Manage suppliers, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements and guidelines.
  • Assign and follow up on non-conformities related to the Integrated Management System.
  • Serve as an Internal Auditor for the Integrated Management System.
  • Conduct, in coordination with cross-functional departments, process hazard and risk assessments, as well as environmental aspects and impacts evaluations.
  • Execute the escalation process for activities that fall outside the established scope or represent a risk to the operation.
  • Manage and monitor compliance with all applicable legal and administrative Civil Protection requirements for the site, ensuring they remain current and are addressed promptly before the appropriate authorities.
Job Requirements Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Protection, or a related field.
  • Training certificates in STPS regulations, Civil Protection, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
  • DC5 certification is preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar position within the manufacturing, automotive, or logistics industry, including experience supervising personnel.
Knowledge
  • Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.
  • Risk Assessment methodologies.
  • Accident Investigation methodologies.
  • Environmental management matrix development.
  • Hazard identification and risk assessment.
  • 5S methodology.
  • AAR and Kansas City Southern Railway Safety standards.
  • Safety regulations and specifications.
  • Emergency response plans and rescue brigades.
  • Maintenance program management.
  • Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.
  • STPS legislation and applicable Mexican Official Standards (NOMs) related to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment.
  • Ergonomic assessment processes.
  • Project management.
  • Industrial Safety operations.
  • Classification and handling of special waste.
  • Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Data analysis (Power BI preferred).
  • Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems.
