Job summary

DaCodes seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality of our SaaS solutions in a Scrum environment. You will design test plans, execute manual and automated tests, and drive defect prevention across pre production environments.

You will write and maintain test cases, collaborate with developers, and expand automation with PHP 8.x/Vue.js apps, Cypress, Playwright, and SQL. Remote role for Mexico residents; strong English is required.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of QA experience in SaaS environments.
• Experience creating test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing.
• Strong English communication skills and self‑starter mindset.
• Proficient in both white box and black box testing for web apps.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to define system requirements and testing goals.
• Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities.
• Develop and run automation scripts using Cypress, Playwright, etc.
• Identify, document, and track defects; perform revalidation after fixes.
• Monitor QA metrics and contribute to process improvements.
• Stay current with testing tools and strategies.
