Job summary

DaCodes is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join a Scrum team delivering SaaS solutions. You will design test plans, perform exploratory and automated testing, and capture QA metrics to prevent issues reaching production.

You will collaborate with engineering and product teams in a fast-paced environment and contribute to customer success. The role requires strong English, 3–5 years QA experience, and hands-on testing of PHP 8.x and Vue.js APIs, plus automation with Cypress, Playwright,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant QA experience.
• Advanced English proficiency, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to identify system requirements and goals of planned solutions.
• Provide feedback on and contribute to acceptance criteria for user stories.
• Create comprehensive test plans and test cases for initial and regression testing.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using various tools.
• Identify and thoroughly document bugs and issues.
• Perform revalidation and regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Track QA metrics such as defect density and open defect counts.
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and strategies.
