TradeCentric is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join a Scrum team and ensure the quality and reliability of our SaaS solutions. You will contribute to test objectives, create test plans, and execute plans to validate pre-production software. You will develop automated tests with Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium, write Python scripts, and track QA metrics.

Strong English skills are required, and candidates must be located in Mexico. Remote work is available.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work collaboratively within a Scrum environment to ensure the quality and reliability of our SaaS solutions. You will contribute directly to the assessment of test objectives and the creation of test plans, use a variety of exploratory and automated testing techniques and tools, capture and leverage test and quality metrics, and execute test plans to validate pre-production software. Driven by the goal of preventing issues from reaching production, you will directly contribute to customer success and help drive TradeCentric’s next phase of growth.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with internal teams to identify system requirements and the goals of planned solutions

Who You Are

• A great teammate: confident and passionate, yet humble and empathetic
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field strongly preferred
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in QA
• Advanced English, both written and spoken
• A self-starter able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
• Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing for SaaS platforms
• An avid problem-solver who can simulate production scenarios, replicate issues, and identify edge cases
• Proficient in testing applications and APIs built with PHP 8.x and Vue.js, or similar
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium)
• Hands-on experience with automation scripting (Python) and SQL
• Knowledge of data formats including XML, cXML, and JSON, as well as HTTP/API protocols
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience testing in a Scrum and CI/CD environment
• Experience with source code control systems, specifically GitHub

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance and/or security testing
• Experience in B2B, e-commerce, or integration domains and software
