Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Reynosa in Mexico is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead rubber manufacturing staff, ensuring safety, product quality and on-time delivery. You will coach and mentor team members, manage staffing and training, monitor performance and enforce production schedules while driving continuous improvement (lean, 5S, Kaizen).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as Supervisor in rubber process (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Follow company Safety policies and procedures. Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work environment; perform regular Safety Gemba to identify safety risk opportunities with zero accident target.
• Assure compliance of quality checks of product, both visual and dimensional, following work instructions; report machinery or quality issues and initiate maintenance requisitions or NCMR as needed.
• Monitoring personnel performance levels and maintain accurate employee records – attendance, performance reviews, and other critical incident reporting; administer corrective disciplinary action when necessary and ensure timely training.
• Coach and mentor employees and advocate for them and for the organization; provide staffing plans and employee training/development; communicate respectfully with all team members.
• Participate continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, 5s, Kaizen, etc.).
• Participate in problem solving, 8D and CAR teams.
• Ensure compliance with production schedules.
• Daily review of Efficiency Report with GS.

About The Role

Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Monitoring personnel performance levels and maintain accurate employee records – examples: attendance, performance reviews and other critical incident reporting.
