Ivemsa in Mexicali, Mexico seeks an experienced Automation Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, and ongoing operation of automated manufacturing systems. You will design fixtures, troubleshoot equipment, and mentor production teams.
Requirements include a Bachelor's in mechanical/industrial engineering, 5 years programming automated robotic arms (Lua), familiarity with PLCs and CAD tools, Lean/Six Sigma preferred, and readiness to travel.
Formación
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience programming automated robotic arms (Lua).
- Lean Certification or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial automation and robotics systems.
Responsabilidades
- Support implementation, commissioning, and ongoing support of automated manufacturing equipment and robotic cells.
- Participate in installation, commissioning, validation, and operation of automated systems.
- Design or modify fixtures, tooling, and simple workstations to support automated operations.
