Intuitive Surgical in Mexicali, Mexico, is seeking a senior software engineer to join the Automation, Equipment and Test team. You will design, develop, and validate software for robotic manufacturing systems and instruments, working closely with hardware, electrical, and quality teams.

You will mentor engineers, lead projects, and help shape the architecture of manufacturing platforms, ensuring reliability, safety and scalable performance in a high-regulation environment.

Formación

• Strong programming in C# or Python; OO design and patterns.
• Experience integrating software with PLCs, sensors, and robotics.
• Proven track record delivering complex software with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of SDLC and software architecture.
• Ability to mentor engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and test software for electro-mechanical systems.
• Lead software platform architecture and manufacturing tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy scalable solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive projects to completion.
• Ensure software validation activities are documented and followed.
