Job summary

J.B. Hunt in Mexico seeks a Road Maintenance Coordinator to support drivers with vehicle repairs, tires, and fuel, routing to vendors for timely service.

Under supervision, you will make safe, cost-effective repair decisions, ensure quick recoveries, and track progress with Operations to maximize equipment utilization.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with up to 1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Mexico.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish.
• Automotive and/or diesel mechanic knowledge preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers or leased owner-operators with vehicle repairs, tires, fuel, and repair instructions by promptly answering calls and routing them to vendors.
• Provide follow up to ensure problems are handled in a timely manner.
• Maintain contact with drivers and vendors to update equipment status.
• Locate the vendor closest to the breakdown to minimize wait time, cost, and ensure quality repairs.
• Quickly resolve tire and equipment issues related to breakdown, repair, and roadside assistance to maximize equipment utilization.
