Fontis Energy in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche seeks an experienced Rig Manager to lead safe, efficient, and profitable rig operations. You will guide execution, manage the rig budget, and align with the operating area strategy while developing crew leadership.

Responsibilities include optimizing well programs, maintaining compliance with national and international regulations, and fostering a strong safety culture across the team and with clients.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive drilling industry experience with managerial background.
• Strong leadership and safety culture emphasis.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver safety, efficiency and profitability for the rig.
• Prepare and manage the budget/forecast for the rig and contract requirements.
• Collaborate with area leadership to meet company goals and guide projects.
• Champion safety culture and ensure compliance with policies.
• Manage customer relationships and startup activities.
• Oversee operational execution, demobilizations, and short-term goals.
• Ensure rig operations comply with all acts, regulations, and labor agreements.
• Direct improvement initiatives with other Rig Managers.
• Review rig contract and ensure staffing meets requirements.
• Evaluate well programs and assist client with optimization.
• Support onboard leadership in safe practices and well control.
• Develop leadership among senior rig personnel and implement training plans.
