Fontis Energy is seeking a Drilling Supervisor to ensure safe and efficient execution of all well and drilling activities while actively supervising the drilling crew in the field.

You will direct operations in line with the drilling program, monitor wellbore conditions, respond to downhole events, and secure the well during emergencies, all while maintaining thorough handovers and logs for client and company review.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school degree or equivalent acceptable.
• 5 years' experience in oil drilling, preferably 2 years in this position.

Responsabilidades

• Direct all drilling operations in accordance with the drilling program.
• Monitor wellbore condition, interpret and respond to downhole conditions.
• Secure the well during an emergency or well control situation.
• Execute well kill operations as instructed by Company supervisors.
• Lead drilling activities as directed by the Tool Pusher.
• Ensure the drill floor is never left unattended when connected to a well.
• Maintain relevant governing documents and revise as required.
• Provide clear daily guidelines and reports; handovers at shift changes.
