Job summary

Teradata seeks a Revenue Recognition Accountant to support the global revenue team and ensure GAAP-compliant recording of revenue transactions. You will collaborate across finance functions to maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting.

Responsibilities include analyzing transactions under and over 1M, supporting internal audits, updating tracking tools, and implementing the Teradata Global Revenue Policy with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or related field preferred.
Strong accounting knowledge and ability to apply policy to transactions.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

Review, analyze and record revenue transactions under 1M to ensure compliance with policy.
Schedule revenue transactions over 1M according to documentation from regional managers.
Support internal Audit with requested documents for deals under 1M.
Ensure documents comply with established policies and assist locations with revenue recognition documentation.
Update internal tracking tools for revenue recognition reviews.
Collaborate with Revenue team to develop and operationalize the Global Revenue Policy.
Demonstrate cross-functional collaboration across the organization.
