Job summary

Neogen seeks a Revenue accounting specialist to provide senior technical accounting expertise across key financial processes for Mexico and Guatemala operations. The role focuses on revenue recognition, accounts receivable, reconciliations, reporting, and internal controls.

Ideal candidate has SAP B1 ERP experience and strong SOX and US GAAP / local GAAP knowledge, especially in revenue and COGS. It requires the ability to independently analyze accounting matters, investigate root causes,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7 years progressive accounting experience, preferably multinational.
• Experience in revenue accounting, accounts receivable, financial reporting, COGS accounting.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, and SOX control environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities with journal entries and accruals.
• Analyze revenue transactions for proper recognition and cut-off.
• Perform reconciliations between systems, subledgers, and General Ledger.
• Support SOX controls, testing, documentation, and remediation.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support regulatory compliance.
