Job summary

Remoto Workforce is seeking a Technical Support Engineer – Lighting & Controls to provide technical assistance for LED lighting products, electrical systems, and IoT lighting controls. You will troubleshoot issues, respond to inquiries, review schematics, and assist with BOMs and commissioning.

The role requires reading wiring diagrams, strong electrical knowledge, and excellent English communication. Remote work with cross-functional collaboration is offered, training provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Experience with AI tools to validate information.
• Familiarity with lighting controls and IoT concepts.
• Experience in technical support or applications engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for LED lighting products, electrical systems, and IoT lighting controls.
• Respond to customer inquiries about function, installation and configuration.
• Review wiring diagrams, layouts, and product documentation.
• Assist with BOMs, control layouts, and commissioning of lighting control systems.
• Support customers with application usage, device configuration and troubleshooting.
• Use AI tools to improve documentation and troubleshooting processes.
• Manage support tickets and ensure clear, professional communication.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and product teams to resolve issues.
