Job summary

Propio Language Services, Inc. is seeking Remote Spanish Contract Interpreters for PropioONE, our on-demand service. This remote role focuses on consecutive interpretation across various domains, with emphasis on confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Applicants must submit an English resume and demonstrate technical English proficiency. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of interpreting experience, must complete Propio’s medical terminology assessment, and pass a mock interpretation.

Qualifications

• Submission of updated resume in English at time of application.
• English language proficiency at ILR level 3 or higher.
• Successful completion of a mock oral interpretation session.
• Completion of Propio's Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment.
• Full background check and security screen.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio L.S. clients.
• Follows Propio L.S. policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge for clients such as medical, legal, social services, etc.
