Propio Language Services, founded in 1998, provides interpreting and translation services across more than 350 languages and American Sign Language, with remote and onsite options for thousands of clients. We have an immediate need for a Remote Spanish Contract Interpreter for our OnDemand service PropioONE.

The successful candidate will provide consecutive, first-person interpretation, follow strict confidentiality and HIPAA policies, complete Propio training modules, and have at least 1 year

Formación

• Submission of updated Resume in English at time of Application.
• Completion of English Language Proficiency with a language rating of ILR 3+ or higher.
• Successful completion of a Mock oral interpretation session with a passing score.
• Completion of Propio's Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment with a passing score.
• A full Background Check and Security Screen.
• A signed commitment to confidentiality, adherence to ethics, and HIPAA compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio L.S. clients.
• Follows all Propio L.S. policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge, as required for various clients, such as medical, legal, social services, etc.
