Job summary

DYOPATH is seeking a SOC Engineer I to monitor security alerts and events, perform initial threat triage, and escalate incidents to keep client environments secure. This entry-level role offers hands-on exposure to security operations and incident response.

Work remotely from Mexico on a first-shift schedule (6a-2p, Monday–Friday) with a 25,000 MXN monthly pay and comprehensive benefits including insurance, bonuses, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
• Internship experience or relevant coursework in networking, cybersecurity, or systems administration is a plus.
• Preferred certifications (or willingness to obtain): CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events across multiple platforms.
• Perform initial threat triage and elevate incidents per SOPs.
• Maintain accurate incident documentation and investigations.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop technical and investigative skills.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support 24x7 operations.
• Adhere to company policies, client requirements, and compliance standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
