DYOPATH is seeking a SOC Engineer I to monitor alerts across security, network, and cloud environments from a remote location in Mexico. The role emphasizes triage, incident escalation, and documenting findings while supporting 24/7 operations.

You will work with SIEM, EDR, and security tools, gaining hands-on experience in threat detection, incident response, and operational monitoring alongside experienced professionals.

Formación

• 0-1 year of experience in a help desk, technical support, SOC, or IT operations.
• Foundational cybersecurity concepts: phishing, malware, vulnerabilities, least privilege.
• Basic networking and systems knowledge including IP addressing, DNS, firewalls, Windows/Linux.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow structured processes and document work performed.
• Ability to manage multiple alerts, prioritize effectively, and elevate issues appropriately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic familiarity with SIEM, EDR, ticketing systems, or security tools through coursework or self-study is a plus.
• Ability to support a 24/7/365 operational environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor security alerts across SIEM, EDR, and cloud platforms.
• Triage, resolve, or escalate issues using SOPs.
• Document investigations and daily operational activities for compliance.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to build technical skills.
• Participate in on-call rotations for 24x7 operations.
• Adhere to company policies and client requirements.
