Job summary

QAD Inc. is seeking a Senior Support Engineer, MO, to deliver expert technical support for QAD and Progress products from a remote Mexico-based team. You will diagnose complex issues, perform DBA tasks, and collaborate with R&D and Product Management to provide scalable solutions.

You will contribute to documentation, training content, and global knowledge resources while supporting 24/7 operations with shift rotations and on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise products and complex issues.
• Proficiency in debugging across Unix, Windows, networks.
• Experience with Progress DBA tasks and SQL data troubleshooting.
• Hands-on ERP support for installations, upgrades, and config.
• English level C1 and ability to work in a 24/7 support model.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for QAD and Progress.
• Ensure smooth installations, upgrades, and configurations of QAD products.
• Perform Progress DBA tasks: backups, restores, optimization.
• Create and maintain detailed issue resolutions and training content.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in shift rotations, including weekends and on-call coverage.
