Job summary

QAD is seeking a Senior Support Engineer, ERP, to deliver expert technical support for QAD and Progress products from a fully remote role in Mexico. You will diagnose, resolve, and document complex issues, manage installations and upgrades, and perform Progress DBA tasks, including backups and performance tuning.

Qualifications

Experience providing enterprise ERP support with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Proficient in debugging, troubleshooting across Unix/Linux environments and networks.
Experience with QAD product installation, configuration, and administration.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for QAD and Progress products.
Ensure seamless installations, upgrades, and configurations of QAD products.
Perform Progress DBA tasks, including backups, optimization and troubleshooting.
Create and maintain detailed issue/resolution documentation for training materials.
Collaborate with R&D, Product Management and cross-functional teams to devise solutions.
Participate in 24/7 support shifts, including weekends and on-call as required.
