Bluelight Consulting seeks an accomplished software architect to design low-latency AWS-based systems. You will lead end-to-end architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and deliver scalable RESTful services while ensuring secure, compliant multi-tenant environments.

Required is 8+ years in software development with 3+ years in architecture, plus strong Node.js/TypeScript expertise. The role supports remote work with international client engagement and opportunities for advanced training.

Formación

• 8+ years professional software development experience, with 3+ years in an architecture-focused role.
• Deep experience designing low-latency service architectures in AWS, including judgment about when distributed components earn their place.
• Experience designing to explicit latency budgets (p95/p99).
• Experience designing audit/evidence systems and deterministic replay.
• Experience designing fail-open/fail-closed/degraded-state semantics.
• Proven experience architecting secure multi-tenant environments.
• Deep experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB and Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Expertise in designing and building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience architecting SDK integrations to other services.
• Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building capacity models and cloud cost/performance projections.
• Experience architecture reviews and ADRs.
• Presenting and defending architecture decisions in client security reviews.
• Overlap US business hours.
• Extreme ownership and accountability for deliverables
