Bluelight Consulting is seeking a senior software architect to design and deliver high-performance systems in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You will lead architecture efforts, shape technical direction, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the US and Latin America.

The role emphasizes low-latency AWS architectures, secure multi-tenant designs, and scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript. We value ownership, mentorship, and continuous learning.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with 3+ years in architecture-focused role.
• Deep experience designing low-latency AWS service architectures and distributed components.
• Experience designing to latency budgets (p95/p99) with synchronous durable commits.
• Experience designing audit/evidence systems with append-only logs and versioned models.
• Experience designing fail-open/fail-closed and degraded-state semantics.
• Proven experience architecting secure multi-tenant environments and trade-off analysis.
• Deep experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB and Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Expertise in designing and building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience architecting SDK integrations to other services.
• Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience modeling capacity and cloud cost/performance (AWS Well-Architected).
• Experience writing architecture documentation, diagrams, and ADRs.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Extreme ownership and accountability; client-focused.
