Bluelight Consulting is seeking a senior software architect to lead design of low-latency, scalable systems in AWS. You will shape architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and craft ADRs while ensuring secure multi-tenant designs and robust RESTful APIs. This role requires overlap with US hours and a strong ownership mindset.

The team values learning, collaboration, and delivering high-quality applications for challenging projects across the Americas.

Formación

• 8+ years professional software development experience, with 3+ years in an architecture-focused role.
• Deep experience designing low-latency service architectures in AWS, including judgments on distributed components.
• Experience designing to latency budgets (p95/p99) with synchronous durable commits in hot paths.
• Experience designing audit/evidence systems with append-only logs and versioned models.
• Experience designing fail-open/fail-closed/degraded-state semantics and outage postures.
• Proven experience architecting secure multi-tenant environments with trade-off analysis.
• Strong PostgreSQL/AuroraDB expertise and Row-Level Security at data-modeling level.
• Expertise in building scalable RESTful APIs and SDK integrations.
• Strong Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript across the stack.
• Ability to overlap US business hours and high ownership of deliverables.
