Job summary

BriteGenix is seeking a Senior SDET to lead and hands-on execute the quality strategy for a cloud-native, serverless microservices platform on AWS. You will design, build, and evolve an automation-first testing strategy, focusing on scalable test pyramids and robust automation frameworks.

You will mentor engineers, reduce regression time, and ensure high-quality software delivery in a 100% remote setup aimed at candidates located in Mexico. Advanced conversational English is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building automation frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js.
• Deep experience testing REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, IAM).
• Experience with Cypress or equivalent for frontend automation.
• CI/CD pipeline integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Redesign and enforce a scalable test strategy aligned with a healthy test pyramid.
• Build robust API and integration automation frameworks.
• Implement contract testing across microservices.
• Validate serverless workflows (Lambda, event-driven flows, IAM, retries, DLQs).
• Integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Reduce regression time and flaky test rates.
• Mentor engineers and drive shared ownership of quality.
