AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Lead SDET to build regression automation and guide the testing strategy across the full product release cycle. The role requires 6+ years in software QA and automation, with emphasis on UI, API, and performance testing, plus 3+ years in data science/AI evals.

You will collaborate with PM, UX, and Eng teams, write Gherkin-based tests, and own quality across SDLC while supporting both remote and office work options.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software QA building with PM, UX, and Eng.
• 6+ years automated testing including UI, API, and performance.
• 5+ years systems-based testing architecture (auth, platforms, infra).
• 3+ years testing data science models and AI/ML evals.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Holistic quality mindset.
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts to support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation against defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance tests.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails and correlate to bug IDs.
• Identify and escalate quality risks.
• Collaborate with product team across SDLC and release cycles.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to gather feedback.
• Participate in refinement and estimation of effort.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repos and scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
