Job summary

Bluelight, a leading software consultancy, is expanding its team in Mexico. We seek a backend-focused software engineer with 5+ years of experience to design and build high-performance APIs and services.

You will work with Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and AWS, contributing across the stack and collaborating with clients to deliver robust solutions. The role offers flexible hours and remote work within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional backend-focused software development experience.
• Strong Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript expertise.
• Experience building low-latency, scalable RESTful APIs on AWS.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security.
• Knowledge of secure multi-tenant environments and SQL schema migrations.
• Experience with React and full-stack contributions.
• Ability to align with US business hours; Bachelor's degree required.
• Extensive testing practices and fault-injection testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and AWS services.
