Job summary

Bluelight, a leading software consultancy, seeks a senior backend-focused engineer. You will design and implement scalable APIs using Node.js/TypeScript, work with AWS and PostgreSQL, and contribute to secure multi-tenant systems.

You will collaborate across the stack, support CI/CD, and help modernize client applications. Flexibility to work remotely with overlapping US business hours is provided, and a bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend software development experience.
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and RLS.
• Solid understanding of full stack development and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality backend services.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and low-latency components.
• Collaborate with frontend as needed and integrate with AI coding assistants.
• Implement secure multi-tenant architectures and schemas.
• Contribute to CI/CD and containerized deployments on AWS.
