Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly accomplished Gerente Legal Senior to lead our legal operations in a remote-first environment. You will oversee governance, contracts, IP and regulatory compliance while guiding a distributed team.

Provide strategic advice to senior management, manage external counsel, develop policies, and help shape corporate strategy from a legal perspective. Requires a J.D., Mexican license to practice, and 10+ years of senior legal experience.

Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent law degree from a highly regarded institution.
• Licensed to practice law in Mexico.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible legal experience, with senior/management exposure.
• Strong leadership and remote team management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee corporate governance, commercial contracts, IP, and compliance.
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management and business units.
• Develop and implement policies to mitigate legal risks.
• Manage external counsel and cost-effective services.
• Lead and mentor a remote legal team and collaborate across functions.
