LRQA is seeking a Security Consultant to join our cybersecurity team in a remote-friendly role. Focused on penetration testing, you will assess applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments, delivering high-quality reports and trusted security guidance to clients across industries.

You will mentor junior consultants, lead small projects, and stay abreast of evolving threats, while collaborating with a global team and supporting ongoing professional development and certifications.

Formación

• Strong technical knowledge in IT security.
• Experience performing security engagements including web, infrastructure, and cloud security testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work independently within a high-performing team.
• Professional certifications such as CREST CRT, OSCP or equivalent.
• Minimum of 12 months IT security experience within the last 2 years.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct penetration testing and security assessments across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Manage full lifecycle of security engagements including kick-offs, testing, reporting, and client debriefs.
• Produce thorough, high-quality technical reports with findings and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor Associate Security Consultants and provide guidance as needed.
• Lead small to medium-sized security projects.
• Provide commentary on cybersecurity events and threats when requested.
