Job summary

TELUS Digital is expanding into embodied AI where robotics meet real-world action. As a Robotics AI Specialist you will evaluate physical data, assess sensor streams, and ensure safe, efficient robotic movements across environments.

You will analyze 3D spaces, support simulation and digital twin testing, validate physics-based safety, and identify edge cases that could challenge autonomous systems, contributing to global collaboration on innovative AI in robotics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Native language proficiency is mandatory for localized safety documentation.
• English proficiency at B1 level for safety reporting and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Physical Data Evaluation: Audit video and sensor data for safe, efficient robotic movements.
• Spatial Reasoning & Annotation: Provide feedback on 3D environments for AI models.
• Simulation & Digital Twin Testing: Review AI in simulated environments to identify errors before hardware deployment.
• Safety & Physics Validation: Ensure AI instructions follow physics and rigorous safety standards.
• Edge-Case Detection: Identify challenging real-world scenarios that could confuse a robotic system.
