TELUS Digital is building a high-impact team of Machine Learning Experts for policy enforcement and content moderation. As a Machine Learning Consultant, you will analyze, fine-tune, and optimize ML models, evaluate model outputs, and collaborate with policy experts to align with guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in AI model supervised fine-tuning or RLHF.
• 2+ years in MLOps.
• 1+ year in UGC moderation / Trust & Safety operations.
• Strong data analysis, trend detection, and report writing.
• Ability to handle gray-area or edge-case scenarios.
• Native level English communication and attention to workflows.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and reasoning (chain-of-thought) for Trust & Safety cases.
• Perform high-quality content annotations with Policy Experts.
• Support supervised fine-tuning and RLHF processes.
• Conduct data analysis to detect patterns, trends and weaknesses.
• Produce clear reports and insights for engineering and policy teams.
• Collaborate with policy enforcement teams to ensure guideline adherence.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive content responsibly.
