Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a Marketing Growth Analytics & Operations Intern who thrives at the intersection of data, marketing and product. You’ll help manage consumer programs across email, push, in-app and landing pages, turning insights into actions for millions of shoppers.

You’ll write SQL, design experiments, build dashboards, and work with Product and Engineering to translate marketing needs into clear specs. You’ll also explore AI-driven automation to streamline recurring analyses and reporting.

Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of SQL.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or HTML/CSS, and enough comfort reading code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with AI tools and applying them to analyses.
• Experience working in agile, matrixed teams with quick turnarounds.
• Pursuing or recently completed degree in a technical field (engineering, CS, data science, etc.).
• Exposure to BI tools (Redash/SIA, Looker, Tableau) is a plus.
• Experience with CRM platforms (Braze) is a plus.
• Experience with product management, experiment design, or A/B testing is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage Claude or similar LLMs to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Write SQL to pull campaign, cohort, and subscription performance.
• Track metrics like DAU, NTM, LTV, CAC.
• Design and measure experiments across channels; define success metrics.
• Own dashboards behind marketing decisions and explore AI-driven insights.
• Translate marketing needs into specs for engineers; trace issues from dashboards/logs.
• Automate recurring reports and analyses using AI tools.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to implement new features for marketing.
