Job summary

Tidal is seeking a proactive Operations & Logistics Manager to own daily procurement, inventory, and logistics for a growing ecommerce brand. This remote, independent contractor role is full-time with ~40 hours per week.

You will work with the founders to execute delivery plans, manage suppliers and 3PLs, and take over Claude-powered workflows in our systems. Strong English, accountability, and timely communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years in operations, procurement, logistics, or supply chain, preferably in ecommerce.
• Experience managing suppliers, packaging partners, freight providers, and 3PLs independently.
• Strong inventory and replenishment skills aligned to demand and promotions.
• Hands-on Shopify experience affecting checkout, availability, or fulfillment.
• Proven Claude proficiency and ability to integrate Claude into systems.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets for operational tracking and cost reporting.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1-C2) and vendor-facing communication.
• Reliable remote work history with timely responses and SOP adherence.
• Willingness for full-time exclusive commitment and overlap with US East Coast schedule.

Responsibilities

• Own procurement and supplier execution from PO to 3PL receipt.
• Hold vendors accountable and push for deadlines.
• Maintain inventory availability and coordinate replenishment around launches.
• Manage logistics and 3PL performance, including freight bookings and tracking.
• Maintain Shopify configurations and related integrations.
• Own Claude-powered operations and validate outputs.
• Track performance and costs with accurate reporting.
• Communicate risks and resolutions promptly.
• Follow SOPs and maintain task records with minimal reminders.
