Job summary

Bold Business is seeking a Medical Equipment & BIM Planner to join a remote team partnering with a U.S. healthcare consulting firm. You’ll bridge clinical workflows with BIM execution, coordinating with architects, clinicians, contractors, and vendors.

You will map operating rooms and imaging spaces, create Revit families, and ensure Attainia alignment while translating blueprints into precise BIM models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5+ years on architectural or healthcare design projects with multidisciplinary teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Bluebeam Revu is required.
• Experience with medical equipment planning databases (e.g., Attainia) or similar software.
• Proficient with MS Office, Adobe CC, and AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret complex architectural drawings and healthcare workflows.

Responsibilities

• Execute interior logistics and equipment development, incl. space calculations, cost estimates, and FF&E specs.
• Update project planning databases (e.g., Attainia) with pricing, models, and specs.
• Assist with equipment selection, budget management, and post-occupancy punch-list reviews.
• Build and coordinate medical equipment in Revit models aligned to Attainia data.
• Interpret design markups and translate revisions into BIM models.
• Accurately map operating rooms, exam rooms, imaging areas, labs, and support spaces.
• Identify spatial conflicts and equipment fit issues early for project leadership.
• Create and modify Revit families leveraging manufacturer documentation.
