Job summary

Placements24 is partnering with a forward-thinking architectural and engineering firm to hire a BIM Designer Specialist for a fully remote role based in Mexico. You will develop and manage BIM models across Arch+Structural+MEP, coordinate disciplines, and ensure model integrity through the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of BIM experience with Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD, a degree in Architecture or engineering, and strong remote collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on BIM design experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, with ISO 19650 awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Coordinate models to identify clashes and resolve design conflicts.
• Generate detailed drawings, visualizations, and reports from BIM models.
• Enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices within the project team.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers through virtual channels.
• Assist in the development of BIM execution plans (BEPs).
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of model data for quantity take-offs and cost estimation.
• Provide training and support to team members on BIM software and workflows.
• Stay abreast of the latest BIM technologies, software updates, and industry trends.
