Talisis is seeking a Level 2 SOC Analyst for a fully remote position. You will monitor alerts, analyze threats, and coordinate incident response from a home office, contributing to a global security program.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in SOC, strong SIEM/EDR experience, and a solid understanding of TTPs, Windows/Linux, and networking. This role emphasizes proactive threat detection and collaboration in a remote team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, CS, IT or related field.
• 2–4 years in a SOC environment, Level 1 or 2 preferred.
• Proficient with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm) and EDR.
• Familiar with networks, Windows/Linux and security basics.
• Remote work ability with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events across security tools.
• Perform initial triage and in-depth incident analysis.
• Investigate malware infections and data breaches.
• Escalate incidents and assist remediation efforts.
• Develop detection rules and SIEM correlations.
• Document investigation findings and response actions.
• Stay updated on threats and security technologies.
• Collaborate with analysts to ensure comprehensive coverage.
