BairesDev is seeking a Backend Engineer (Java) to design and build scalable JVM-based services. You will contribute core server-side logic with Spring Boot, delivering robust microservices and REST APIs for complex integrations.

Work is 100% remote, with flexible hours, excellent USD compensation, and hardware/software setup to support you from home. You’ll join a global, multicultural team and grow via mentorship, skills development, and challenging projects.

Formación

• 4+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong Java 11+ (17/21 preferred).
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency in JPA/Hibernate and SQL databases.
• Docker containerization and Kafka event streaming experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement high-performance microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Manage data persistence with JPA/Hibernate and SQL databases.
• Develop real-time data pipelines and messaging with Kafka.
• Ensure code quality with unit testing using JUnit.
• Containerize apps and manage deployments with Docker.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements for large-scale integrations.
