Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an Incident Response Analyst (AI Training) to help train and evaluate AI systems that support security operations. You will analyze real-world incidents, validate AI-generated responses, and provide feedback to improve threat detection and investigations.

Remote, hourly contract, 10-40 hours/week. You will work asynchronously on your schedule while contributing to cutting-edge AI safety and capability in cybersecurity, with potential for ongoing engagement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on SOC or incident response experience.
• Experience with SIEM platforms and alert queues.
• Ability to articulate reasoning and distinguish threats from noise.
• Strong written communication and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Analyze security incidents and alerts to evaluate AI responses.
• Assess AI outputs for threat identification and root cause analysis.
• Review detection rules, alerting pipelines, and playbooks.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI for SOC use.
• Work independently and asynchronously.
